School age children lessons

There are 10 different levels in the school aged program.

Levels 1 are held in our Leisure Pool, the water depth is 60cm to 100cm with a class size up to 5 students. Duration: 28 minutes with 2 minute changeover of classes

Level 2 - 3 are held in our Leisure Pool, the water depth is 60cm to 100cm with a class size up to 6 students. Duration: 28 minutes with 2 minute changeover of classes.

Levels 4 and 5 are held in the main lap swimming pool in the shallow end with a class size up to 6 students. Duration: 28 minutes with 2 minute changeover of classes.

Level 6 and higher are held in the main pool, deep end with a class size up to 6 students. Duration: 28 minutes with 2 minute changeover of classes.

Level 9 and 10 are held in the main pool and the class is up to12 students. Duration: 58 minutes with 2 minute changeover of classes.

MAC also offers a specialist one hour social and recreational water program for teens and young adults named the MAC Rescue and Aquatic Program. This is designed for teens who are at the higher levels of our lessons and want to continue a once per week structured program.

Teenagers can enter the school aged program, or can enter directly into the Adult program when appropriate.
