Stage 3 Restrictions
Following the Government’s announcement on 7 July, metropolitan Melbourne and Mitchell Shire will return to stage three restrictions for six weeks from 11.59pm 8 July, to help slow the spread of COVID-19 throughout the community.
There are again only four reasons to leave home:
- Shopping for food and supplies,
- Care and caregiving,
- Exercise, and
- Study or work – if you can’t do it from home.
Restaurants and cafes within the community will return to takeaway and delivery services only, community sport will stop, and beauty and personal services, and entertainment venues will close
School holidays have been extended by one week for students in Prep to Year 10. Students completing their VCE will go back to school for Term 3 as planned, along with special schools.
