"The streets hold a sense of mystery; you never know what's around the corner" Daniel Bannister’s photographic series will take you into the unassuming potential of Melbourne’s urban spaces, merging the old and new worlds, from cityscapes to backstreets and laneways. This series invites you to step into a moment of stillness, a contrast to the busy city that we’re used to seeing. A visual artist and photographer, Dan grew up in Melbourne and has had a passion for photography since he can remember, taking his first photos when he was just 8 years old.
