Susan is an impact-driven leader with two decades of experience in the arts and cultural sector, education, and government. Currently she is the CEO of 100 Story Building, a creative writing centre for young people in Footscray.
Arty Owens
Arty is an artist and as an arts worker with strong connections to the Deaf and disabled arts community. They currently work as a producer at Arts Access Victoria, working on music programs, visual art programs, festivals, exhibitions and professional development programs. Arty’s creative practice is writing.
Efren Pamilacan
Efren is a dance artist and independent producer of Filipino ancestry. He is a member of Jigsaw Sneakers collective and founder of City Sessions street dance battle. He supports independent street dance artists. collectives and communities as the artistic director of Cypher Culture. Efren is the Program Manager at Dancehouse.
Sammaneh Pourshafighi
Sammaneh has over 20 years of experience working in the arts sector as a photographer, exhibition co-ordinator and educator. Their photographic work has been published by British Journal of Photography and they have been a finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize.
Troy Rainbow
Troy has a multifaceted career spanning composition, performance, virtual reality experiences, and festival curation. He is Director of Sleepless Festival, Footscray, and mentors artists through youth programs including The Push and Orygen.
Andree Ruggeri
Andree has worked in the arts since 2008 across a range of roles and organisations locally and overseas. She is Chair and Manager of Trocadero Projects, a volunteer-run non-profit visual arts organisation in Footscray.
Amber Stuart
Amber has twenty years of experience working in leading arts and cultural organisations across Melbourne and in local government. She is currently Unit Manager Arts and Culture at Merri-bek City Council. Amber has previously worked as General Manager of Big West Festival and served on the board for Snuff Puppets and The Substation.
Sally Walshe
Sally (aka Lady Mohawk) is a visual artist and producer who has been practicing for over 15 years. She created and produced Show your WESTSIDE Art Prize and Exhibition, as well as RePurpose YOUR Future Community Art exhibition. Sally has had several solo exhibitions in the west and regularly runs linoprinting and art workshops in Footscray.
John Weldon
John is a creative practitioner working in the fields of professional and creative writing, journalism, media management, digital content provision, theatre and music for over 40 years. He has been a published novelist, features and op/ed writer for The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, and is widely published as an academic. He has taught writing, journalism and media studies at Victoria University and in several other academic settings.
