Rap Good is a music mentoring program which will provide young people aged 12 to 18 with quality recording sessions and music composition workshops for both aspiring and emerging artists from Maribyrnong. Participants will have an opportunity to up-skill in a safe environment and make connections with like-minded young people.
During the program, participants will be split into small groups at different stages of song development such as beat selection, concept creation and song composition. Each group gets to work with experienced mentors who will support you with writing techniques to fully develop the content of your songs. Once you have finished writing your song, you will then be able to book a time to record the track in the studio.
Rap Good is free of charge for all participants.
