The Civic Precinct and Community Hub offers hirable rooms across both the new Civic Precinct and heritage Town Hall.

With nine spaces available for hire, the building offers a multitude of amenities to cater to events ranging from eight to 150 people in size.

The rooms are available to hire from 9am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday except public holidays.


Forum Room 1 (capacity 14)

14 person meeting room on the ground floor of the Civic Precinct and Community Hub.

Suitable for meetings, training days, workshops and community group use.

  • Connection available for projector presentation.
  • Laptop and HDMI cable required.

The Auditorium (capacity 150 standing/100 seated)

Large event space on the ground floor of the Civic Precinct and Community Hub.

Suitable for events, exhibitions, meetings, training days, workshops and community group use.

This event space caters to a maximum of 150 patrons - this can be set as either theatre style seating or standing room only.

Bond will be applicable to all bookings in this space - this will vary depending on the event as per relevant Conditions of Hire document.

  • Connection available for presentation via projector or wall mounted monitor.
  • Laptop and HDMI cable required.
  • Commercial kitchen available for hire (additional hire fee applies).
