Waste education visits for schools
Did you know that Council provides a range of waste and environmental education programs for schools and child care facilities?
These sessions teach students about how our activities impact our climate and environment, and how we can take simple actions to help reduce waste and save precious resources.
Discover how our food choices and recycling practices impact our climate, learn about the water cycle and the fundamental role rivers and creeks play in the environment, and explore waste from new and exciting perspectives.
Our sessions are educational with a focus on fun, and engage children at all levels.
