Quarry Park Mountain Bike Trail

The Quarry Park Mountain Bike Trails cater to a wide range of biking age and ability and provide family-friendly space for all members of our community to learn to ride and gain skills for downhill riding. 

 

The trails encourage healthy, active lifestyles and offer additional outdoor creation opportunities to the community.   

 

The Quarry Park Mountain Bike Trails project was delivered in a partnership with the Victorian Government through a Community Sports Infrastructure Grant.

 

Parking

We encourage all visitors to arrive at the Mountain Bike Trails by bike. If visitors have to drive they can  park at Footscray Park off Farnsworth Avenue where there is ample public parking.

 

Trail information

The ascent trail is rated as an easy/green course.

       

      Safety information

      Mountain biking has some inherent risks and visitors use these facilities at their own risk.

      To make your visit as enjoyable and safe as possible please always follow these precautions:

      • wear an approved helmet

      • stay in control

      • ride within your ability

      • use an appropriate bike/equipment

      • ensure equipment is in good functional condition

      • do not ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol

      • respect other users

      • supervise children at all times.
