The health and safety of our community is our number one priority, and as restrictions start to ease, we are working to safely reopen some of our facilities in line with the State Government guidelines.

We are excited to announce that Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre will reopen on 9 November, and Braybrook and Footscray Libraries will reopen on 23 November. Face-to-face consultations for Maternal and Child Health will also resume for all families by 16 November.

View the full details below, and stay up to date with future announcements regarding the reopening of Council services by visiting our COVID-19 Community Information webpage.

Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre

Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre will reopen on 9 November 2020, and the Centre hours will be 7am-7pm weekdays, and 9am-5pm on weekends.

In line with State Government restrictions, there will be limits on the number of patrons that can attend the Centre at any one time – 20 per an enclosed space and 10 per group fitness class. As such, bookings will be essential for those wishing to attend the Centre.

The safety of our members, staff and community is our highest priority and strict social distancing measures in place when you attend the Centre.
