Join critically acclaimed author, Claire G Coleman at the Footscray Library this September and enjoy a taste of her latest novel, Enclave, during this year’s Melbourne Writers Festival.

This much-loved festival is an annual celebration of national and international literary heroes, emerging stars and fascinating thinkers who dive in and unpack the stories that make and move us.

Claire G Coleman’s new novel, Enclave, explores a future of surveillance, disruption and segregation that echoes the horrors of a colonial past. Here previous work, Terra Nullius – a story about settlement, cultural erasure, genocide, exploitation and suffering of Aboriginal people - was shortlisted for the 2018 Stella Prize.

Guests will hear from Claire in this Q&A session as she discusses her book in conversation with Senior Journalist, Miki Perkins. Claire will be doing a book signing after the event supported by local booksellers The Chestnut Tree Bookshop.
