Celebrating 10 years of Braybrook Community Hub
Published on 27 March 2025
Braybrook Community Hub is excited to mark its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of service and connection within the community.
The Hub – along with Council’s two other community centres – have been at the heart of our community, providing a space for all ages and stages of life to come together and access vital services.
Since opening on 25 March 2015, Mayor Cr Pradeep Tiwari said the Hub has become a local treasure.
“Residents flocked to see what it had to offer – from signing up for community programs and memberships at the library, to discovering the Men’s Shed, exploring kindergarten options, and accessing health services.”
With so much to see and do, Mayor Tiwari said the Hub has proven to be a vital addition to our City’s diverse, and resilient community.
“Over the past decade, the Braybrook Community Hub has grown to become much more than just a building – it’s a place of connection, support, and celebration for people of all ages and backgrounds”, said Mayor Tiwari.
“To date, the Hub has welcomed over a million visits, which speaks to the important role it plays within the community,” he continued. “We are excited for the future and look forward to continuing to serve and support Braybrook in the next decade”.
In 2016, the Braybrook Community Hub received a Local Government Award for Excellence, a testament to the responsive services it provides to the community. Over the years, it has continued to grow and evolve, with partners working together to deliver a holistic approach to services and support.
To celebrate the milestone, Braybrook Community Hub will be hosted a morning tea on Thursday 27 March, where locals came together, enjoyed some birthday cake and shared their stories of the centre.
