Melbourne Food and Wine Festival - Seddon Crawl
Westside Crawls is a series of progressive food events throughout the West as part of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival's March program.
The Crawls will take intimate groups of food lovers between three venues in a night, stopping for a bite, a drink or a snack at each. Each Crawl is led by a Melbourne Food and Wine Festival host, and each is a celebration of the eating and drinking culture of a different neighbourhood in Melbourne's west.
Seddon Crawl - Tuesday 16 March
Think of this crawl as a greatest-hits sampler, a celebration of the village vibe and neighbourly spirit that made Seddon Seddon.
First stop is Luxsmith, one of the city’s favourite pan-Asian eateries, for the entrée course.
For mains you’ll wander up to Copper Pot and change continents to Europe, taking your cues from chef Ashley Davis’s love of the food of bistros, bodegas and trattorias.
Then finish with a slide through the unmarked door of Lay Low Bar quite possibly the most polished watering hole in the 3011, to enjoy dessert.
What a night.
