An author’s talk will be hosted at Footscray Library with contributors of the #MeToo: Stories from the Australian Movement anthology. The collection of writing by 35 Australian women provides a commentary on the MeToo hashtag that went viral in October 2018 and the impact this has had on women from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
A panel discussion led by Maggie Scott, one of the editors will explore the challenges and opportunities of the #MeToo movement in the Australian context joined by writers and contributors to the anthology, Eugenia Flynn, Sylvie Leber and Ruby Pivet.
