Cross Roads Community Garden
About
The Cross Roads Community Garden (the Community Garden) is a meeting place for all to share gardening tips, experiment with gardening techniques and plant choices, and provides for a local socialising experience. The Community Garden is home to a group of friendly and passionate amateur gardeners based in Footscray and welcomes anyone and everyone regardless of skill level or experience.
The Community Garden is accessible to anyone who is wanting to try their hand at gardening however and whenever they like and seeks to add value to the community by creating a sustainable garden space. There are no individual plots allocated at the Community Garden which enhances the sense communal partnership and support.
Meetings are held at the Community Garden fortnightly and are generally the first and third Saturdays of the month commencing at 10am.
