Naidoc Week – Sweet As film screening

Join us this NAIDOC Week for a special screening of Jub Clerc’s multi award-winning debut feature.

Sweet As (2022) follows Murra, a young Indigenous teenager, forced through family circumstances to join a group program for troubled youth. Taken on a ‘photo safari’ through the stunning scenery of Pilbara country the trip is a chance for all the teenagers to engage with country. Issues bubble to the surface, but the experience enables them to see different pathways for their lives.
