Junior Rangers Program

Join our Junior Ranger Program which has been designed for school age children to learn all about the plants and animals that live in our local parks, and we can help ensure our wildlife continues well into the future.

Junior Rangers will get to:

  • Identify plants and animals using the iNaturalist App.
  • Monitor nesting boxes.
  • Participate in conservation work to nourish the vegetation of our local green spaces.
  • Meet and learn from our local Friends Group experts.

Juior Rangers do require some essentials such as:

  • Comfortable clothes (that are OK to get dirty!).
  • Enclosed shoes.
  • A hat preferably with a wide brim.
  • Sunscreen with a minimum of 30 SPF.
  • A full water bottle.
  • The iNaturalist App that parents need to download.

These sessions are available to any child who is currently school- attending age. Parental supervision is required all participants under the age of 18 years.
