Procurement Policy

Our Procurement Policy(PDF, 652KB) (19 October 2021) details the principles, processes and procedures applied to the purchase of goods, services and works.

It aims to ensure all Council procurement activities:

•    achieve high quality outcomes
•    ensure timeliness and accountability through oversight and probity
•    treat all tenderers fairly.

Purchase Order Terms and Conditions

Council's purchase order terms and conditions apply to all purchases of goods, services and/or works where Maribyrnong City Council have issued an official purchase order to a supplier.

A supplier’s acceptance of a Council purchase order is deemed to accept the listed purchase order terms and conditions.

If a supplier has been engaged via a formal contract with Council, the terms and conditions as set out in that executed contract supersede the purchase order terms and conditions below.
