Playground Softfall Mulch Top Ups

Airforce Avenue Reserve playground

Council will be topping up the mulch/softfall material across 33 playgrounds around the municipality as part of regular maintenance works.

We will be utilising softfall material made of 100% pine and no recycled materials, meeting all Australian standards.

Documentation including Softplay Certificate and Safety Data Sheet has been provided to ensure compliance and quality assurance.

Works will begin 3 June and are expected to be completed within six weeks.

Work crews will be on site Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm.

*Please note that factors such as weather conditions may impact the timing of these works. Signage will be placed on site before works begin to notify playground users. 

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the playspace during the works? 

Expect playground to be temporarily closed for approximately 1-2 hours.
