Places of Maribyrnong Photo Competition
The City of Maribyrnong is a vibrant place to live and visit and this year we wanted to see the places and viewpoints that our community thought were special; for example, the mighty Maribyrnong river, our parks and gardens, interesting streetscapes, historical buildings and views of the city.
Entrants were asked to show us their favourite place to visit as part of the ‘Places of Maribyrnong’ 2017 photo competition.
After receiving nearly 400 entries, the photographs were judged by a panel based on their relevance to the theme 'Places of Maribyrnong', artistic and technical merit, originality, and creativity.
See the photo gallery below for the winning entries and highly commended photographs. Thank you to everyone that took the time to enter, we received a high standard of photography and deciding on the winners was a challenging task.
