Detail From the Investing in Your Community Poster

Council collects rates to ensure it has the budget to fund the many services it delivers to the community. Rates notices are issued in August each year.

Your rates assessment number on your Rates and Valuation Notice was changed in 2014/15.

The new shorter number has been displayed since the first installment notice issued to you in 2014/15.

Please remember to amend your previous reference number next time you pay your rates online or by BPAY to ensure your payment is processed and received.

Paying rates notices at Australia Post

Residents who pay their rates at Australia Post should be aware that the bar code on the notice is scanning incorrectly.

A printing error has affected the barcode on the 2nd instalment rates notice. Customers can still make payment by this method, however need to state the amount due.

All Australia Post outlets have been notified of the error.

This error does not affect other payment methods such BPay Credit Card, telephone payments, etc.
